I finished up my assignment at 4:21am and to wake up at 7:30am to get to class. But my mom had another “episode” so I wasn’t able to sleep because me and my dad had to take care of her. I really wish she would stop, her health is going to be so bad if it continues (love you mom, you have to take care of yourself ). Janelle was up pretty early because she wanted to book an appointment for today to finally get her hair straightened ( Japanese style lol). She told me it was going to take 5 hours so she booked an early appointment. After class I wanted to get her some food because I figured she’d be hungry AND I wanted to surprise her. Once again however, I failed. She connected the dots and figured out I was planning on coming . I just want to surprise her one time!!! I decided not to go because she told me not too *eye roll* and she wouldn’t tell me what she wanted to eat (now that I think about it, horrible excuse). Then again I googled it and I couldn’t find the salon she was at, well I definitely would have went to the wrong one. She ended up getting out at 3 and i jumped into the van and went to go pick her up to go to yorkdale to check if they had the bathing suit she wanted an to grab some early dinner. She was looking so cute when I picked her up :$. Her hair was looking flawless btw. We ended up eating at Pickle Barrel and I got some ribs and wings while she got her usual , fish and chips. We also got some nachos with some pretty good sauce as well and of course a vanilla killer shake. The service was terrible, they never came to see if we were doing okay or anything, so I didn’t tip very much aka 1 dollar, yes I’m cheap and I’m a student allow me. Tell me how the waiter has the nerve to come up to me and tell me that the standard tip is 3.5%. Feel lucky I tipped your ass, HOLY. We went to Victoria secret after but unfortunately they were out of stock yet again, but she found a nice purple colour that I think is considering as well now, the employee said they will eventually get a restock which was reassuring because I still feel bad that I bought her the wrong thing and what she actually wants they don’t have. We then hit up orfus road because I had to pick up some hockey jerseys for the game later and she wanted to check out some stores. We both didn’t end up buying anything and we headed home. I dropped her off and it was stressing me out how I had to get home as soon as possible but I didn’t wanna not say hi to her fam again, especially her dad. She convinced me that it’s not really good timing so I didn’t go in and it turns out none of them were home so I was stressing for nothing :D.

9pm came and it was time for my teams first game of the season, we won the championship last year so we were pretty excited. We took too many penalties, partly because of stupid calls and ended up losing 1-0 .
Highlights of the day:
- Just being with Janelle, (no matter for how long or short of a time can honestly make my day).
- Hockey season is officially on its way
- Not buying anything at all :D
